Sketch Writing Workshop
Sketch (n): a short humorous play or performance, consisting typically of one scene in a revue or comedy programme.
This is a workshop all about writing skits and sketches! If you want to give writing a shot but the thought of 50,000 words is slightly terrifying for you, then maybe you should try writing a sketch or two. In this workshop, Manfred will cover the basic structure and how to write a sketch (in a sketchy kind of way).
Manfred writes for about an hour a day, usually more, and performs whenever he's allowed. He writes a tonne of sketches, makes a certain amount of short films, and a handful of essays and film scripts and stuff. He performs Improv shows at Fringe Festival, Infinite Jest and used to work with Only the Human. He also has his own podcast and regular youtube channel. Manfred thinks he's really good at it, like a good 7/10, and will work for free because he loves it. Deal?
