Remembrance Day 2017 @ Victoria Park Memorial Gardens
The Town of Victoria Park will once again honour and remember our fallen servicemen and women with a ‘Field of Remembrance,’ during a special ceremony at Memorial Gardens on Remembrance Day.
Please join us in the symbolic planting of around 2,500 artificial poppies and 50 white crosses, which have been made by community members and students.
Community may attend from 10.15am to plant a poppy, with a short commemorative service beginning at 10.50am followed by a moment of silence at 11am.
This is a free event.
