PACT Salon: The Big Bounce
Tickets to PACT's inaugural Salon are selling fast!
PACT Salon: the Big Bounce is a one-night mini-festival curated by Matt Cornell celebrating dancing in all it's forms.
There will be an open-level/all welcome Groove Therapy dance workshop with Vanessa Marian from 6pm, a free BBQ followed by performances from Angela Goh and Adam Warburton, a panel discussion with the artists and a DJ set by Sezzo Snot!
Tickets: $10 online or $15 on the door.
Matt Cornell will team up with philosopher and DJ Sarah Scott and comedian Damian Power to curate Salon 1: ‘The Big Bounce, zooming from MICRO to macro to MICRO’. The audience will be invited to examine the arbitrary and shifting position within time, place and space.
Matt works through choreography, dance, sound, photography, music and discussion. Recent credits include ‘Between Two Bodies and Zero’ (Form Dance & Riverside 2014); ‘I Am Emmanuel’ (Bus Stop Films) and ‘Epic8’ (Link Dance Company 2014). Matt has also toured internationally and been the recipient of awards, grants, residencies and scholarships.
