History of you
How will you be remembered? Inspired by the exhibition A History of the World in 100 Objects from the British Museum, think about yourself in the world and be remembered by making your own time capsule to take home.
We also invite you to bring along a small, special object (less than A4 size) from home. Objects tell a lot about ourselves and the times in which we live and drawing objects can help us understand the world around us.
Artist and educator Naomi Zouwer is leading a project called the Taxonomy of Australian Children’s Objects, to help remember the children of 2017. Learn some cool ‘how-to-draw’ techniques, then contribute your drawing to a group display. Created by children, each image and story about the object’s significance will be recorded for posterity online.
