Blues Spectacular: The Gov 20 Oct., 4pm - 8pm
National touring bluesmen, Keith Hall and Pat Dow return to Adelaide at The Gov on the 20th of October to heat up Adelaide with some cookin’ blues.
Also, in this Blues Spectacular are Finn Rythm and Blues Band fresh from their European Tour with special guests Paul Pumpimg Piano Hay; one of Adelaide's finest blues men and Roger Smith on harp from The Bluescasters.
Keith Hall and Pat Dow Band are a national ,and international blues/rythm and blues/roots Band touring Australia, with their ecclectic mix of electric and acoustic authentic blues. Their last album " Blues Hall " currently in the Top 25 Aussie Blues Chart peaked at no2 and has been in for 10 months.There previous album This Kind of Blue peaked at no4 in 2012.
Finn Rythm and Blues Band play the music of their generation and are still writing it. Finn continues to deliver their trade mark music and constantly tour the country. Their 6th CD ‘bomb the world’ reached #4 on the Aust. Blues/Roots charts where it stayed for 5 months. Finn won SBS performers of the year, and went to Memphis for the IBC in Feb. ’05, 2013 saw a very successful tour of Ireland in which they played 15 dates in 21 days, and received rave reviews. They will return in 2014. With a dedicated following of cult like supporters and an undeniable love for the music, Finn are one of Australia's best kept secrets.
