2017 Sydney Fringe Festival
Heading into our eighth year the Sydney Fringe Festival is now the largest independent arts festival in NSW. Growing in footprint and diversity we truly are Sydney’s festival.
With events spread out across our sprawling city, the festival celebrates, and highlights the amazing work of our local independent artists, art makers and performers. Inviting our audiences to visit undiscovered parts of the city, a new venue or a secret bar, and discover the fantastic creative offerings our artists prepare year-round.
And each year, beyond our September festival we work with our local artists, key stakeholders and the private sector to create new, vibrant creative precincts, art spaces and activations driving the growth and shaping the creative landscape of our city.
The Sydney Fringe Festival digs deep each year to find and highlight the creative heart of our city, it’s new, responsive, and dynamic, it is an annual snapshot of how Sydney feels, where we are and where we are heading. 2016 was our most successful festival to date, and 2017 is shaping up to be bolder, braver and more ground breaking than ever before, we hope you can be part of it!
