The Astor Theatre
A Picture Palace in the old fashioned style of the early 20th century, the Astor Theatre is a cinema that still captures the magic of the silver screen.
The classic design of the building is apparent both inside and out, with deep reds and sparkling golds creating a charming and exciting atmosphere. The state of the art facilities enable the Astor to show modern digital films in perfect clarity alongside old school 35 and 70mm prints.
The Astor's aim is to provide double features every evening of the week and special events on the weekends, and try to keep the spirit and excitement of the movies alive. There is a regular schedule of classic movies to enjoy, from The Ghost Busters to Citizen Kane.
