Sydney Harbour Bridge
The Sydney Harbour Bridge is one of the most renowned landmarks in the country, and remains an iconic image of both Sydney and Australia.
The famous arch-based design measures 134m above water level and spans 49m wide, carrying traffic between the city’s central business district (CBD) and the North Shore. The Bridge is also famous for its spectacular pyrotechnic displays every New Year’s Eve.
Along the southern pylon of the bridge, visitors can climb the 200 stairs to the ‘Pylon Lookout’, featuring 3 exhibitions along the way detailing the history and construction of the bridge. Upon reaching the top, you can witness spectacular panoramic views of Sydney Harbour.
Alternatively, visitors can attempt the ‘Bridge Climb’ tour – an adventurous three and a half hour experience of climbing to the summit of the Bridge by wire lifelines.
