St Paul’s Church - Westmeadows
Slated as one of the oldest Churches in Victoria, St Paul’s Church at Westmeadows has a rich history dating back to the 1850s. As one of the last ports of call from Melbourne to the goldfields, St Paul’s was a crucial spiritual site for those risking it all to seek their fortunes in regional Victoria.
The architecture – now recognised through its induction into the National Trust register – tells of St Paul’s enduring place in the North East of Melbourne, reminiscent of an earlier, historic and pivotal time in Victoria’s history.
