Peace Park, named in recognition of the International Year of Peace, is the highest point in the Canterbury local government area. It was officially opened in 1993 and features a ceremonial paved area to pay tribute to the site’s former purpose as a brick manufacturing company.
The park features a water tower, childrens’ playground, public toilet and picnic facilities and is the perfect destination for a day of relaxation with the whole family.
