Logan’s Beach in Warrnambool is best known for its whale viewing lookout, where you can watch the Southern Right Whales nursery area. These whales return each year in the winter until early October to give birth to and raise their calves. The viewing platform is one of a kind as you get the special treat of a front row seat to viewing these majestic mammals. Make sure you bring along your binoculars to get an extra close up look.
The beach itself is a beautiful spot for swimming and playing in the sand. If you’re a surfer, do bring along your board and ride the waves!
