Built in 1897, Lake Leschenaultia is a man-made lake which is now used as a recreational area, attracting both locals and tourists. Activities available at Lake Leschenaultia include hiking through the bushland, canoeing and swimming by the artificial beaches. The recreational area surrounding the lake offers cycling and barbequing facilities, playground equipment and a camping area. Visitors who explore the area will see native flora and fauna including echidnas, kangaroos, possums and various species of birds.

How to Get There:
Visitors travelling from the south should take the Great Eastern Highway and exit via Old Northam Road. Then turn onto Thomas Street at the roundabout and then take a right onto Rosedale Road and continue for 2.2km to Lake Leschenaultia.
