Cranbourne Royal Botanic Gardens
The Royal Botanic Gardens in Cranbourne is a place of biodiversity research with the ultimate goal of conserving plants through programs of study and protection.
The gardens allow people to walk, bike or run through the area in order to connect the Melbourne community to the natural world. Highlights of the garden include the wonderful walking and bicycle tracks, as well as the rockpool waterway.
The park also has a viewing area called Trig Point which offers 360 degree views of the surrounding gardens and the Melbourne city skyline and Dandenong Ranges. The Royal Botanic Gardens is the best place to get close to nature and learn about the value of flora.
