You can’t not mention the abundance of spectacular beaches this city hosts. Surfers Paradise, another aptly named tourist destination, is an iconic epicentre of fun on the Coast. With close to three kilometres of beach and beachfront markets, Surfers is a great place to spend the day relaxing in the Queensland sun. Lamington National Park is the most extensive subtropical rainforest in the world and features spectacular waterfalls and walking trails, while The Tamborine Rainforest Railway Walk is a one and a half kilometre rainforest walk experience showcasing the beauty of the rainforest from the canopy height. O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyards are a celebration of the increasingly popular wine growing regions in the Gold Coast, where visitors can taste test the wines and dine or picnic in the vineyards. Visit the Tamborine Mountain Distillery, Australia’s most internationally awarded distillery, to taste test the award winning liquors.
