Women In Voice

Women In Voice began its journey as a bold yet simple concept: to showcase prominent and emerging women artists, and allow them the room to explore their art.

Arguably the longest running theatre work Brisbane has produced, having been staged annually since 1991 (the last 8 performances at QPAC), Women in Voice has unearthed some of Australia’s most successful voices including Katie Noonan, Kate Miller-Heidke, Deborah Cheetham, Carita Farrer, Alison St Ledger and Meagan Samardin.

Both Christine Johnston and Annie Lee, the creators and members of musical/comedy success story the Kransky Sisters both found their early audience fan base through Women in Voice.
