Description
The Palais in conjunction with Amber Mic Productions are proud to support Emerging Independent muso's and we are happy to showcase local musicians in our area. The aim of these events is to create awareness within the community for the local artists that play at these showcases and boost their profile.
Amber Mic Productions is looking to run 10-30 gigs on the same day across several different Regional Victorian locations to support National SLAM (Save Live Australian Music) Day.
Save Live Australia’s Music (SLAM) is a collective of non-politically aligned, independent, local music-loving citizens.
Last year the SLAM rally saw 20,000 people march through Melbourne in protest against the Victorian Government’s misguided policy link between live music and violence.
More information can be found at their website: http://www.slamrally.org/
The gig will be run by a local musician or someone selected from the local community and will feature a selection of Shire of Hepburn local original artists.
