Pantelis Thalassinos

The Greek Festival of Sydney presents, for the first time in Australia, one of Greece’s most distinguished artists, Pantelis Thalassinos, in Sydney for one show only!

With a career spanning over 30 years as a songwriter, composer and performer, his music, lyrics and collaborations with many of Greece’s favourite artists have been acclaimed both in his homeland and internationally.

He has performed in some of Greece’s most prestigious venues, including the Herodes Atticus theatre and on Mount Lycabettus.

Thalassinos has recorded 14 solo albums and is currently working on a new one, titled Kontra ston Kero. Nearly all his albums have reached gold, platinum or double platinum sales. He has contributed to many more albums as composer or guest singer and his songs have been performed by numerous Greek and international artists.

In Sydney Pantelis Thalassinos will be accompanied by his own seven-piece orchestra in a program including some of his best-known songs — Smyrneika Tragoudia, Anathema Se and Karavia Chiotika. Not to be missed!
