Boxing Day Lunch Cruise Sydney Harbour 2014
If a three course buffet consisting of seafood and carvery is more to your liking, then a cruise on the Magistic II might be for you. There is no better way to see which team will make it through the heads first and begin their sail towards Hobart. With a fully licensed bar, live captain commentary, fruit, coffee, tea and desserts, your three hour trip is sure to be an entertaining one.
If heading out to sea isn’t up your alley, take advantage of the many fantastic points around Sydney to watch the beginning of the race. For the south, Watsons Bay is one of the best vantage points. Experience the fine dining at Doyles on the Beach, and then take a walk along the coastline to many of the highlights at Watsons Bay including Camp Cove Beach and South Head, all with clear views of Sydney Harbour.
Bradleys Head Amphitheatre
On the north side, there isn’t a much better place to view Sydney Harbour than Bradleys Head Amphitheatre. This is one of the most popular lookouts in Sydney, so you better get there early! Bring the family along and have a picnic as you watch the start of the race and take in all that Sydney has to offer.
Boxing Day Cruises - Sydney Sundancer
For one of the best cruise experiences that money can buy, look no further than on board John Boyce’s vessel. Positioned right at the start line, you will have a clear view of the racers.
